how we do it

How we do it - in 4 simple steps

Some clients already have a Training Needs Analysis... but it's often the case that the client  has a challenge in a part of the business but isn’t sure how to define the specific problem and issues... thus, it's virtually impossible to identify the needs. We like to use this as an opportunity to prove our worth right from the start.

Phase 1: Discovery Day

Identify your needs and desired outcomes, measure the size of the problem. In consultation with your Management we will discuss the general environment and issues in order to create a broad view of the landscape and establish if we believe we can help and how.

Having established we can help we will then sit in on meetings, meet staff, conduct research in order to define the needs and desired outcomes. The findings, together with recommendations, will be documented and provided to the client. This phase is chargeable as a discrete piece of Consultative work - but will be offset if we progress to phase 3 (Delivery).

Phase 2: Proceed

We review and agree the findings of the Discovery Day, establish the needs, align these against desired business outcomes and design the training solution. We will consider whether face to face training, or online training, or both is the most appropriate medium for delivery and any other services that may be required.

If face to face training is part of the solution we review our trainers to identify one (or more... depending on the needs) who will form the best match based on the Discovery Day findings. The trainer will then discuss their background with the client, their training styles, the clients' needs, corporate values and culture, the content required and the desired outcomes - the objective at this stage is to ensure that there is a close fit between the trainer's skillsets and the client’s requirements ahead of the event.

At this stage we will also review our online services and make the appropriate recommendations.

Phase 3: Delivery

EndZone will provide a proposal and costing based on the information above. We will ensure that this phase leads to a rapid conclusion and that all considerations are met and the Value recognised and understood, along with outcomes that can be measured at a later date for performance evaluation by the client.

Upon confirmation to proceed we agree timescales, engage with the relevant suppliers and get on with delivering the programme.

Phase 4: Review

Measuring the success of a programme is a critical part of the overall process. We want to create a long-term relationship based on mutual trust and understanding and not just a once-off intervention. It takes time, commitment and energy by all parties to deliver a successful training solution – so we collectively ensure that the outcomes of the training (as documented in Phase 1) are achieved. This measures the ROI as well as giving a pathway for ongoing training programmes.
